On the 16th November, Macarthur Councils in collaboration with member Councils of The Parks, will be holding a regional garage sale at Camden Council’s Carpark, Cnr Dairy and Holstein Sts, Oran Park. This event will provide anyone interested in the community with the opportunity to come and sell their pre-loved and unwanted quality goods or to come and nab some great bargains! Residents can contribute to a more sustainable community and reduce landfill waste by reusing items and participating in the buying and selling of second-hand goods. We are planning a fun family event with demonstrations/workshops on sustainable practises like creating your own worm farm or building insect hotels and with fun for the kids like making art from waste products, getting to experience our waste vehicles or playing in our ‘musical garden’! So why don’t you come along and turn clutter into cash while building community connections? You can either sell what you don’t need or find what you do – at a very reasonable price! We can’t wait to see you there!
